After much trial (and even more error) we have finally created a suitable-easy-to-remember blog address (though i'm sure after viewing this, my better half will tactfully suggest a more excitement-inducing blog title).
Here’s the run-down: Jake (my eternal companion and co-author of this blog) and I will be traveling to Taiwan this fall. We will be teaching oral English at a college there whilst taking online courses (courtesy of MSSU) and reveling in complete immersion (i.e., culture shock). This will be the first of many cross-cultural-English-teaching-escapades.
departure: late August
return: early January (though preferably never)
only a few preparations remain:
visas
international drivers permits
storage for our stuff (if anyone would care to house a plethora of stuffed monkeys let me know)etc.etc.
